SITUATION: Capital One banking customers get a whole suite of digital tools to make managing their accounts easier, but adoption rates for the mobile app were low. With the onset of Covid, there was an opportunity to promote the benefits of contactless transactions right when people needed them most.
SOLUTION: Tilt created a series of short animated videos promoting digital features in the app. Videos were bookended with live video featuring Capital One’s national talent, Jeremy, and promoted features along with their benefits. We recommended an approach that presented the benefits in human stories versus being strictly informational and provided strategic research findings to support the recommendation. The result was 9 original videos, 16 social versions, and one bonus video for MONEY teen checking executed in live action.
