SITUATION: Getting the kids back to school is stressful even before you consider weekly meal prep. Walmart wanted to show moms and dads how easy and fun (no, really) those breakfasts, snacks, and lunches could be. Plus, Walmart’s Great Value brands could help budget-minded parents make meals without sweating the bottom line.
SOLUTION: To inspire those parents, we looked for inspiration ourselves. After finding a variety of novel recipes, we narrowed the list down to five that were a perfect fit for Walmart’s private brands. Then we created a series of videos that highlighted the 3-5 items needed and how to put it all together. Stop-motion animation and live-action brought fun energy that was a recipe for success. The campaign included five original 20-second videos to run on Walmart’s in-store display network.
